At StandlyTick, we highly value your focus and data anonymity. Your privacy is fundamental to how this tool was built. We designed StandlyTick to function without collecting any personal data. This policy explains exactly what we do — and do not — do with any information that passes through the tool or our website.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or process:

  • Your body weight or work hours (these are used locally on your device only)
  • Your location, IP address, or device identifiers for profiling purposes
  • Any health data in a personally identifiable form
  • Behavioural data, session recordings, or heatmaps.

3. Information You Provide via the Contact Form:

Our website includes a Contact Form that allows you to send us a message directly. When you submit this form, the following applies:

  • The information you provide (such as your name, email address, and message content) is used solely to respond to your enquiry
  • We do not add your details to any mailing list without your explicit consent
  • We do not share your contact information with any third party
  • Messages submitted via the Contact Form are retained only for as long as necessary to address your enquiry, after which they are deleted
  • You may request deletion of your submitted information at any time by contacting us

4. Social Media Channels:

StandlyTick maintains presence on the following platforms: Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. When you interact with us through these platforms:

  • Any information you share (comments, messages, profile data) is subject to that platform's own privacy policy
  • StandlyTick does not control and is not responsible for the data practices of these platforms
  • We do not use social media interactions to build personal profiles or for targeted advertising

5. Local Storage:

All user preferences — including weight input, work hours, Dark Mode, Show Labels, and Fullscreen settings — are saved locally in your browser via the browser's localStorage API. This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is never transmitted to StandlyTick or any third party
  • Is permanently erased when you clear your browser cache or site data
  • Cannot be accessed remotely by anyone.

6. Analytics & Cookies:

To understand general traffic volume and improve tool stability, StandlyTick may use Google Analytics with anonymised, aggregated data only. Specifically:

  • No personal identifiers are collected or stored
  • IP addresses are anonymised before any processing occurs
  • No cross-site tracking, behavioural profiling, or retargeting is performed
  • We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing pixels

You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Third-Party Links & Platforms:

StandlyTick includes links to third-party platforms, including:

  • Buy Me a Coffee — for voluntary supporter contributions
  • Social media platforms listed in Section 4
  • Affiliate links (including Amazon Associates) — for qualifying purchases that may earn StandlyTick a small commission at no extra cost to you

When you navigate to these platforms, their own privacy policies govern your data. StandlyTick assumes no responsibility for their practices, content, or availability.

8. GDPR — Rights of European Users:

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of Access — to request confirmation of what personal data (if any) we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification — to correct inaccurate personal data
  • Right to Erasure — to request deletion of your personal data

Since StandlyTick stores no personal data on any server, most of these rights are satisfied by design. For any data held via the Contact Form, you may exercise any of the above rights by contacting us through our Contact page.

StandlyTick transmits no personal health data to any server. Browser localStorage is protected by the browser's same-origin security policy and is inaccessible to other websites. Contact Form submissions are handled with standard encryption (HTTPS) in transit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the tool, legal requirements, or our practices. When we do:

  • The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
  • Significant changes will be noted prominently
